This is literally the best deal .
Anyone who knows anything about computers should instantly recognize this deal. There is no better way to make your computer feel MUCH faster than replacing the hard drive that your OS is installed on with a solid state drive.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Here is hands down the best 2.5in form factor solid state drive on the market, no exceptions, on sale for an absolutely incredible price right now. 10 freaking year warranty too! I WILL be buying this.

LA LA LA CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF THE XBOX ONE I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BUY SO I CAN FORZA HORIZON.
I'm running the 840 Evo and holy crap, my computer boots up in 20-30 seconds. So nice. Samsung knows how to make a good SSD.

Eh, it's an alright deal. I've seen amazon put some better ones out, though usually with less high quality SSDs.
Also, the best way to do things is to install your OS on an mSata port with virtual memory, and then use the stock HDD for cold storage. Unless you have more than one sata port, in which case 2.5" that shit all up.

20-30 seconds still seems long for an SSD. My computer boots in around 10 seconds. And I just have a generic Kingston one.

This is going in a laptop, no mSata port.

Ironically enough, my laptop has an mSata port, but yeah, most don't.
Also, Amazon has great deals on USB 3.0 hard drive enclosures. I've been re-purposing my old hard drives as I slowly replace equipment into USB storage drives that way, and it's way cheaper than buying an external hard drive itself.

Yeah, the 500 GB coming out of my laptop is a WD black and my desktop doesn't need any more internal HDDs so I might slap it in an adapter I have and put it in one of those external enclosures. Consumer external HDDs always seemed to me like a bad deal (higher price and slow performance).

It boots up before the keyboard can catch up. I still haven't figured out why that is.

Is it a USB keyboard? or a PS/2?

Ye olde USB keyboard from a Sony Vaio.

Can you get into the BIOS?

I've actually got my eye on the eBay bundle that comes with a 1 yr Gold.

20 seconds? That's an eternity with an SSD. My laptop boots in about 6 or 7 seconds with my EVO 120.

Six second bootup and it took you almost two months to reply. I tweaked a few things and it's now 10 seconds ish or less.
